Collective management

A real bonus for your business park...
and your company!

Some companies join forces to undertake projects designed to reduce their environmental impact while also reducing their operating costs. Together, they implement actions within their business park (or industrial zone) or their own structures. The aim of this web site, developed by the UWE’s Environmental Advisors, is to promote this type of initiative and to help companies, business clubs, associations, etc. with their projects.

This web site is a guide, designed as a process, comprising various tools. This methodology is flexible and varies from case to case, to suit the business parks, the companies and the opportunities which emerge as a project progressesWithin a business park, implementation of actions in order for companies to jointly manage their environmental impacts.. This web site-guide has been designed within the framework of the Life-SMIGIN projectThe LIFE-SMIGIN project (Sustainable Management by Interactive Governance and Industrial Networking) is funded by the European Commission’s LIFE programme, and by subsidies that the Union Wallonne des Entreprises (Walloon Business Federation) receives from the Walloon Region for its missions to raise awareness of pollution prevention, the rational use of energy and land development. It is managed by the Union Wallonne des Entreprises (Walloon Business Federation) and operates in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Valenciennois. which encourages companies to jointly manage their environmental impacts.

NB : Collective management may apply to other topics than those presented here. The examples reflect the situation in the Walloon region: modifications will therefore be necessary to suit the location of your Business Park (PAE).
